What happens if you install flotation incorrectly?!
This is what happens if you install floatation incorrectly. The Velcro that opens to release the floatation should be pointed away from the pilot. We wanted to test and see if it will still inflate with the salt crystal towards the ground which is correct, but having the Velcro facing towards the pilot. As you can see, there was no issue!
Video Debrief 6 - Wheel Launch
We are excited to start a new video debrief series! Using both foot launch and trike paramotors we like to break down the good, bad, and what could be made better! The best way to prevent Paramotor accidents is by practicing safe ground handling! During each class we are recording students inflations, take offs and landings in order to bring the videos back to the hanger and do an end of session debrief. This is a great way to show the students first hand their successes and mistakes and it reinforces things we are able to see and things they may not realize they are doing. Over the last month or two we have seen major changes in student success with this process. (including our own successes!) . If you see something in these videos that we missed or that could have been done better please DO leave a note below! We are always learning ourselves!
Costa Rica March 2023 - New Tours and Lots of Mud
